According to the documentary I just watched these adults were all abused as children too. Several generations since the early 1800s. They didn’t talk about William. But they did mention some of the men only had the iq of a small child. So in a sense I can understand why they’d abuse people. It doesn’t make it right. But the family needed help. Not all needed jail, but sone other form Of help.

When you talk about the military especially the American military it is apparent how little you know about the inner workings.

Ok incels are diverse they're not all hostile. However, I don't think it's a helpful label. I am celibate. I have been for quite a long time now. I am involuntarily poor I am involuntarily not married. But it is a negative label and it easily lends itself to resentment. By labelling yourself in this negative way about something you don't have you are putting yourself in a box that could be hard to break out of. It is not healthy to compare yourself to others in terms of what they have and you don't. We get the hand we're dealt in life and sometimes it's not fair. But we can also take positive action to try to change things. Incel implies someone else is forcing you to be celibate which implies other people are withholding s*x. No one owes us s*x. I find it's better to be grateful for what you have whilst also striving to do better. To live your best life possible with what you've got instead of wallowing in what you don't have. Wallowing is not attractive. Instead I am thankful because there are people who are in way worse situations than me. I try to help others where possible and want to do my bit to help make a better world. When I'm on my deathbed looking back on my life i don't want to regret wasting time on self pity. I want to reflect on all the good stuff. And some of that good stuff is a result of luck and some of it is a result of what I've gone out and made happen.

When you consider that dogs that bite a human only once got put down and were called "killing beast" etc., and then there's Raoul...I am not for the DP, though. There was so much preventable abuse and crime, starting in his childhood, and nobody did ANYTHING...OMG

I grew up in Nova Scotia and the rumours of the Goler family was known before it hit the media. When kids wanted to insult each other we'd say 'you Goler'. There was no talk of abuse or anything to do with children, the rumours were more to do with the adult family members having incest with each other. The mailbox story was different than what you said. What we knew as kids was that the father and adult son would race to the mailbox and whomever got there first would get to 'do' the other one.

The disconnect I feel between thinking Laila looks so cute in her pictures and realizing she's been killed by this monster woman is just so intense. I just almost feel like I can't comprehend it. It's horrible.

I have a 2 year old. Man these cases just make me so mad!! I feel so guilty and horrible when I even get frustrated and raise my voice at any of my kids!!! I wish I had the means to help the poor children in these situations.

This case is so heartbreaking. I wondered if Jennifer had some kind of grudge from childhood against the biological mother of these two little girls. It's sickening what she and her husband did to them.

So I was thinking I know this was posted a year ago. But my theory is the reason why he killed in his hometown is because he had an itch and he just had to scratch it. Cuz Danielle you said while they were searching for Samantha him and his family went on a two-week Cruise. So what if he had been saving that money that he normally used to travel to kill to go out of town on that cruise for two weeks? That would definitely explain why he went out of pattern. Killed someone and rape them right before he went out of town with his family. Those are just my thoughts about that changing patterns

I have friends that are foster carers, it's sad how order worked they are and how they are pushed to just get through the work as quick as u can, but they never over look a child like this. Just horrible job and a full investigation of the local office not just that carer.

Whenever I think about how bad and corrupt the criminal justice system is in America, I remember how lenient and soft the Canadian justice system is. Free speech isn’t even allowed there, so it doesn’t surprise me that they sympathized with killers.
